Testing & Quality

At Ellasie, quality is a system, not a slogan. We use documented processes designed to support ingredient identity, purity, and consistent manufacturing for every product we sell.

Content standards

1) Manufacturing standards

Our supplements are produced in facilities that follow recognised quality and food safety practices, including GMP aligned processes and hygiene controls. Manufacturing follows documented procedures designed to reduce contamination risk and support consistency.

2) Ingredient sourcing and identity

We select ingredients from established suppliers and request documentation such as:

  • Certificates of Analysis (CoAs)
  • Ingredient specifications and allergen statements
  • Traceability information where available

We avoid unsupported “miracle” ingredients and prioritise formats that are widely used and well documented.

3) Batch level quality checks

Our quality program includes batch level checks, which may include:

  • Ingredient identity and specification checks
  • Microbiological quality testing
  • Heavy metals screening (where relevant for the ingredient type)
  • Stability and shelf life controls

Testing requirements can vary by formula and ingredient risk profile.

4) Third party laboratory testing

Where third party testing is used, we aim to work with accredited laboratories that follow recognised quality standards (such as ISO/IEC 17025). Results may be shared on relevant product pages or provided on request, depending on the product and report format.

5) What we test for

Depending on the product, testing can include:

  • Microbiology (screening for organisms relevant to food supplement safety)
  • Heavy metals (such as lead, cadmium, mercury, arsenic, where relevant)
  • Ingredient specifications (to confirm the ingredient matches agreed standards)

6) Packaging, storage, and freshness

We use packaging designed to support product quality in transit and storage. For best results:

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
  • Keep the lid closed between uses
  • Follow the best before date on the label

7) Transparency and continuous improvement

We review quality inputs over time, including supplier documentation, customer feedback, and changes in guidance. If we update a formula, we aim to update the related product information and educational content accordingly.
