About Dr. Nurten
Dr. Nurten Abaci Kaplan is a pharmacist and formulation scientist with a background in medicinal plants, natural product chemistry, analytical research, and evidence based product development. At Ellasie, she supports formulation science and the review of selected educational content and product information for clarity, scientific grounding, and responsible communication.
Her experience spans pharmaceutical R&D, phytochemistry, supplement formulation, scientific writing, quality related work, and laboratory based research using methods such as HPLC, LC QTOF MS, GC, and related analytical techniques. Her work has also involved enzyme inhibition studies, phytotherapy related research, and natural product investigation.
Dr. Nurten holds a PhD in Pharmacognosy from Gazi University, a pharmacy degree from Gazi University, and further study in Planetary Health at the University of Bayreuth. She also serves as Head of Formulation & Science at Ellasie Women’s Health Advisory Board.
